How to register

To register, you first need to choose a training provider. All providers have been selected by the DfE.

1. Choose a training provider

All providers deliver the same course content, however there may be differences in how they choose to deliver the course. You can visit their website to learn more.

You must register with DfE before you apply with a provider.

• Church of England
• LLSE
• National Institute of Teaching
• University College London (UCL) Institute of Education

2. Register with DfE

When you register with the DfE, we will:

1. check and confirm your eligibility for funding
2. notify your chosen training provider

Your provider will contact you to complete your application and:

1. check your suitability for the course
2. confirm if they can offer you a place

If your training provider is unable to offer a funded place, you can log in to register with a different provider.

Before you start

You'll need a GOV One Login account (you'll be prompted to sign in or create one). You should use the same email address to log in, every time you use this service.
